The Bradley Lab develops ion source, ion trap, and plasma systems for various technological applications, as well as plasma processing techniques for fabricating new kinds of nanostructured materials.
Research topics include:
-ion sources and ion traps
-development of new plasma processing technologies for quantum computing materials (e.g. in-situ doping of diamond films for NV-centre applications)
-applications of new quantum materials in biomedical imaging (new detectors for MRI)
-plasma processing of 2D materials (e.g. doping of graphene)
